• Trips < 8 weeks: Reimbursement for travel exceeding 8 weeks in duration from research accounts, endowment accounts, internal funding or external funds through IU, requires 1-month prior approval from the Executive Associate Dean in the College, one month prior to taking the trip. This includes trips taken during sabbaticals, summer months, grant funded leaves, and during leaves without pay. After any grants/fellowships that might fund the trip are confirmed, please send a pre-approval request form to Becky.

If your event involves a visiting speaker who will require an honorarium, you must clear the event, its budget and its potential funding sources with Becky Bryant prior to applying for funding.

• 1 year in advance: send course planning documents to your field chair using these guidelines and this course-request form.
• Preceding semester, Week 6: Send the DUS your course description(s) and flyer(s)
• Preceding semester, Week 10: Send text book orders to Nancy using these guidelines and this order form. If you use FacultyEnlight, Nancy can order desk copies.
• Week 1:
  • Send current syllabi to Nancy.
  • Duplication requests require 48 business-hours advance notice.
• Week 2:
  • Waitlists expire. Contact Becky to have students added.

• Week 10: Confirm final exam schedule for your course(s). Reminder: Final exams must be given during the official time slot. You may offer an additional final during exam week, but it must be in addition to your official exam time. The Vice Provost for Academic Affairs tells us that no major or final exams may be scheduled during the last week of classes (free week)
• Week 12: Finalize course evaluation questions at https://ocqbest.indiana.edu
• Week 15-16: Duplication requests require 48 business-hours advance notice.
