A Gift and a New Prize

The department has received a gift from the estate of Rozelle Boyd, who earned an MA in History from IUB in 1964 and later served as an assistant dean, helping found the Groups Program at IU. The department plans to use Mr. Boyd's gift to establish a new undergraduate essay prize, the Rozelle Boyd Prize in the History of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color.
