Faculty News

On September 28th, Maria Bucur presented “The Unbearable Toxicity of Christian Nationalism in the United States’ at the conference Nationalism, Populism, Fascism, and Democratic (In)Stabilty in Eastern Europe. Historical Continuities and Transformations, hosted by the New Europe College in Bucharest. On Friday, September 30th, she is presenting “Biopolitics and Disability: A Gender Analysis of Medical Discourses about Able-Bodiedness in Interwar Romania,” as part of the project Disability Studies in Eastern Europe, hosted at Jagiellonian University, Krakow. Eric Robinson delivered the paper "Greek History and Experimental Pedagogy: Student Role-Play in Cities on the Edge of War" at Harvard Law School, as part of the Midwestern Ancient Greek Legal History and Political Theory Conference, on Sunday, September 25.
