In the week since the March 16 Atlanta shootings, Ellen Wu has been interviewed or cited in local, statewide, national, and international media. Her mentions include Los Angeles Times, IDS, GQ, Politico, Buzzfeed, La Presse (Montreal), Indiana Public Media, New York Times (x2), AP, NBC News (x 2), BBC (x2), WTHR TV Indianapolis, WTHI TV Terre Haute, Bustle, KCRW (Santa Monica), KNX (Los Angeles), Vox, Straits Times (Singapore), Business Insider, Boston Globe, Today.com, WISH TV (Indianapolis), Deutsche Welle (Germany). She provided consultation to producers of CBS Sunday Morning and Last Week Tonight with John Oliver. On Tuesday March 23, she spoke at the Asian Culture Center Justice for Asian American Pacific Islanders Vigil. On Wednesday March 24 she spoke at the Indiana Graduate Workers Coalition Gathering Against Asian Hate. On Thursday March 25 she is scheduled to speak at the Hamilton Lugar School/Mauer Law School event "Legal, Global, and Personal Reflections on the Atlanta Murders."
