- Donna J. Drucker (MLS 2000, MA 2003, PhD 2008) published her third book, Contraception: A Concise History in the MIT Press's Essential Knowledge Series in the first week of April. The book is a global history of contraception from the 1880s through the present. - Carl Ipsen, Director, IU Food Institute, recently co-launched the IU Emergency Meals Project to provide free meals to students and others facing food insecurity as a result of the pandemic. Those wishing to contribute can make monetary donations on the IU Food Institute’s website to help cover the cost of making the meals, which is about $5 apiece.
