- Carl Ipsen has recently signed a contract with Le Monnier (Mondadori) for an Italian edition of Fumo: Italy's Love Affair with the Cigarette. That work was also featured in the March, September and November issues of the Italian trade journal Pianeta Tabacco. - Carl Weinberg’s book manuscript, Red Dynamite: Creationism and Anticommunism in Modern America, is under review at John Hopkins University Press.
- Noam Zadoff's book Gershom Scholem: From Berlin to Jerusalem and Back was published with Brandeis University Press (the Tauber Institute Series). Noam also organized the Workshop: "Jewish Intellectuals and the Six-Day War 1967-2017", at the ETH, the Technical University of Zurich (together with Prof. Andreas Kilcher), December 11-12. There he presented the paper: "The Anti-Sabra: Udi Adiv and the Renegade as an (Anti) Culture Hero after 1967".
