He also presented a paper on Polish Communism as an emotional experience at a symposium at Harvard, "Did Ten Days Shake the World: Centenary Perspectives on the Russian Revolution."
- Pedro Machado has edited and published a special issue of Textile History, 48 (1), 4-14, "Entangled Histories: Translocal Textile Trades in Eastern Africa, c. 800 CE to the Early Twentieth Century."
- Mark Roseman was discussant at the panel "German History Beyond Borders" and moderator of the panel "Masculinities in the Third Reich" at the German Studies Association 2017 conference, in Atlanta Georgia.
