Congratulations to Ke-chin Hsia and Eric Robinson, who received grants from the Jack and Julia Wickes Fund for the Study of War and Society, which “encourage[s] and aid[s] the research, study, and teaching of subjects and issues relating to War and Society.” Ke-chin’s award will support research for his second book project, “Who Is an Austrian? Refugees and the Austrian Identity in Post-WWII China and Austria.” Eric’s award will support further enhancement and refinement of his custom-designed historical strategy game, “Cities on the Edge of War.”
