- Congratulations to Pete Giordano, History’s Undergraduate Academic Advisor, who has won the College’s Outstanding new Advisor award.
- Ph.D. student Asher Lubotzky published two short essays over the summer (in Hebrew). The first one is a geopolitical analysis of the current situation in Sudan and the foreign interference by regional powers in the country (published by Tel Aviv University’s Ifriqiya). The other essay discusses the deeper layers and meanings of the contemporary equation of Israel with apartheid (published by IDC’s Arena Journal).
- Rob Schneider gave three talks and presentations in the UK and Europe on his current research project, "The Return of Resentment," in May -- at Queen Mary's College (Centre for the Study of the Emotions), 15 May; Max Planck Institute, Berlin, 21 May; and the University of Geneva, Thumos Seminar, 23 May.
