- Roberta Pergher's book Mussolini's Nation-Empire: Sovereignty and Settlement in Italy's Borderlands, 1922-1943 has been published with Cambridge University Press. On October 27 she presented the paper "First Impressions and 'Last Stands' -- Wartime Experience and Postwar Memorialization of the Alpine Front" at the conference World War 100: A Centennial Symposium held in Madison, WI.
- Mark Roseman gave a public lecture on “Holocaust Research and Education in the USA and UK" at the Haus der Wannseekonferenz in Berlin, November 6, 2017. It was the keynote for the conference "Lehre, Vermittlung und Forschung zum Holocaust in Deutschland - Status Quo, Impulse und Perspektiven." (Teaching, Dissemination, and Research on the Holocaust in Germany -- current situation, new directions and prospects)
